"NEXT" – Uncovering Grammar (Hueber-Verlag)

No matter whether a teaching approach focuses on words or rules, communicative tasks or
structures – somehow, learners have to get the grammar right. The crucial question is: How?
Using a hands-on approach, we will look at examples of grammaring exercises against the back-ground
of second language acquisition theories. We will see what the Common European
Framework of Reference has to say on language accuracy and compare this to the findings of
neuropsychology. If you want to know how rules get into learners’ brains – come and uncover
grammar with us! Examples will be taken from Hueber’s NEXT series.
